alchemists Unleashed are the winners of HadeLAN 2011, following a victory over aimbat! in the Grand Final.

The two day event took place in Lunnerhallen in the city of Roa, just north of Oslo. The Grand Final at the event saw undefeated alchemists Unleashed take on the Swedish mix from aimbat!, who had got to the final with a 2-1 win against zx9 in the Consolidation Final.

Winning the CT pistol-round on de_inferno, alchemists got off to the better start and especially Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard gave aimbat! a hard time. The Swedes did rally back, but it ended up with alchemists having a five round lead at half-time.

As defenders aimbat! found no luck to start with, and saw alchemists run away with the pistol-round and the following three rounds, before the Swedes picked up the first round in the second half. aimbat! took another five rounds before alchemists stepped in their way and claimed match point at the score 15-11.

Little did it seem to bother the Swedes, who took another three rounds in a row, to either tie it or see alchemists win at the score 15-14. An attack on the B-bombsite from alchemists did however finish off the slim lifeline aimbat! had created, seeing alchemists win 16-14 and HadeLAN 2011.
